Basketball Recap: Port Richmond Comes Up Short

Port Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lane Knights. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 473rd in New York, while the Knights are ranked 177th in New York).

Port Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lane, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Port Richmond nor Lane have any future games scheduled.
