Basketball Game Preview: Center Point Eagles vs. Shelby County Wildcats

The Center Point Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Shelby County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Center Point is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Center Point took a blow against Tarrant, falling 71-26. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 145th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Shelby County took on Jemison on Thursday. Shelby County lost to Jemison on the road by a 50-36 margin. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Center Point's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Shelby County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-20.
