Basketball Recap: Liberty Bell Comes Up Short

Liberty Bell lost against Okanogan back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Liberty Bell Mountain Lions lost 60-36 to the Okanogan Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Mountain Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 120th).

Liberty Bell dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Okanogan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Chelan the next time they take the court. Liberty Bell will host Chelan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Okanogan will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
