Softball Game Preview: Tabb Tigers vs. Poquoson Islanders

Tabb fell victim to Warhill and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Lions. The Tigers have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Poquoson finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against New Kent, falling 11-1. The game marked the Islanders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Poquoson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Mason, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Tabb's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Poquoson, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.
