Trevaris Jones Dazzles in Northeastern Win

Trevaris Jones was instrumental in extending Northeastern's winning streak to six on Friday. Jones was unstoppable, throwing for 289 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground.

Northeastern pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Jones will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Camden County on Friday.

Pasquotank County had to settle for second on Friday, but Jayon Harris sure wasn't going down easily. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 62 yards.

Pasquotank County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. Harris and Pasquotank County will challenge Manteo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jaylin Mallory and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Northeastern picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jaylin Mallory. Mallory turned in nothing short of a gem, making six total tackles.

For the season, Mallory has averaged 8.8 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 2.83 rushing yards.
