Baseball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette lost against Savannah back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish fell 12-7 to the Savages. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Savannah, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Lafayette didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Cameron on the 17th. As for Savannah, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-6 victory against Plattsburg on the 14th.
