Soccer Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Overlake Owls, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Northwest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Overlake are ranked 13th).

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2. As for Overlake, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will challenge South Whidbey at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Overlake, they will square off against Eastside Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
