Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart-Griffin Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart-Griffin was the 49-40 winner over Springfield when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones fell 43-31 to the Springfield Senators on Tuesday.

Sacred Heart-Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Springfield, they pushed their record up to 18-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

When Sacred Heart-Griffin and Springfield next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Sacred Heart-Griffin will try to stop Taylorville's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Springfield will challenge Glenwood and their six-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
