Baseball Recap: Wilbraham & Monson Academy Titans vs. Canterbury School Saints
Wilbraham & Monson Academy had lost seven straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-12 to make it eight. They lost 15-0 to the Canterbury School Saints. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Saints when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Canterbury School, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season.
For Canterbury School's part, Jake Pomichter looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Pomichter has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Tyler Harmony was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryan Gabianelli, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
