Football Game Preview: Montcalm Generals vs. Meadow Bridge Wildcats

Montcalm is 1-7 against Meadow Bridge since October of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Generals will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m.

Montcalm came up short against Greenbrier West on Friday, falling 27-6.

Meanwhile, Meadow Bridge took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-20 win over Richwood. Considering the Wildcats have won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Meadow Bridge and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for Montcalm, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Montcalm was taken down by Meadow Bridge 52-18 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Wildcats' Kaiden Sims, who rushed for 383 yards and six TDs while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. Now that the Generals know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
