Soccer Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Orono on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Riots by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Central couldn't push the score so high this time.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Orono, they pushed their record up to 11-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central will face off against rival George Stevens Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Orono is set to challenge their familiar foe Washington Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
