Softball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was the 10-6 winner over Skyridge when they last played one another back in April of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. Mountain View came up short against Skyridge on Monday, falling 13-6. The Bruins just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Saralynn Hair made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Callie Huff, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Skyridge, they moved to 6-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will be playing at home against Pine View at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Skyridge, they will head out to square off against Pleasant Grove at 3:30 p.m. on April 8. Skyridge's pitchers better be ready for this one: Pleasant Grove has averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season.
