KIPP P put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Gates County Red Barons 28-14.

KIPP P's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gearey Johnson led the charge by rushing for 102 yards and one TD on only seven carries, while also throwing for 42 yards and one touchdown. Jayden Gregory was in the mix as well, providing the Pride with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: KIPP P was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 297 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 242 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

KIPP P's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece.

KIPP P's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Gates County, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

KIPP P didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 20-0 win against KIPP DC Legacy College Prep on the 12th. As for Gates County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 44-13 victory against Northampton County on the 12th.
