Thursday just wasn't the day for Jonesboro-Hodge's offense. They came up short against Doyline on Thursday, falling 19-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Castor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-1 to Cedar Creek.

Castor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylie Shirley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Jonesboro-Hodge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Castor, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
