Softball Recap: Corinth Holders Comes Up Short

Corinth Holders came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-0 to the Clayton Comets. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Comets earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Corinth Holders saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia Gwynn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Corinth Holders' loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Clayton, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

As of now, neither Corinth Holders nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
