Basketball Recap: Appling County Pirates vs. Columbia Eagles
Appling County and Columbia squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Appling County had to settle for second. They lost 61-40 to the Columbia Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pirates have suffered since December 17, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Appling County lost, don't look at Keniyah White. Despite the final result, she posted 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. White is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played.
