Soccer Game Preview: Patton vs. East Burke

The Patton Panthers will head out to take on the East Burke Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Patton took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hibriten. Patton hasn't had much luck with Hibriten recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, East Burke fell victim to Freedom and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 5-0.

Patton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3-1. As for East Burke, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1.

Patton got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against East Burke by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
