Alabama and California speedsters lead the nation with 57 stolen bags each.

Seniors Ashlynn Campbell of Wetumpka (Ala.) and Abi Pikas of Pacheco (Los Banos, Calif.) are tied for the national lead in stolen bases with 57 each.

Campbell is headed to Purdue and has stolen multiple bases 21 times for the 40-3 Indians. The .582 hitter has surely left a dent in the Wetumpka basepaths over her career as she has recorded at least 50 stolen bases in three straight seasons.

Pikas hits .667 and has stolen five bases in three different games this season. Headed to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the senior has turned her 57 stolen bases into 39 runs over 20 games.

Gerritt Griggs of Central (Phenix City, Ala.) is ninth in the country with 45 stolen bases. A sophomore, Griggs already has 87 career stolen bases. This season Griggs is hitting .586 with 53 runs for a top 10 team in Alabama.
