Izard County put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Cougars have won three matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Izard County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Buffalo Island Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Coming up, Izard County will head out on the road to face off against Tuckerman at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Tuckerman's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Izard County's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Buffalo Island Central, they will challenge Cross County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
