Volleyball Recap: West Nodaway Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Nodaway was the 3-1 winner over Rock Port when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets fell 3-1 to the Blue Jays on Tuesday. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 16-25, 25-19, 25-14.

Gracie Larabee paced West Nodaway's offense, picking up 13 kills. Larabee got some help from Annalee Livengood and her 27 assists. Larabee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

West Nodaway's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Rock Port, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season.

West Nodaway has already played their next game (against Union Star), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rock Port, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against North Nodaway on the 18th.
