Softball Recap: Strafford Gets the Win

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Strafford and Stockton have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Tigers 9-8. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Tigers back in March, they had to take a 11-10 loss.

Dalyce Scrivener was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted over her last ten matches.

Strafford's record is now 12-17. As for Stockton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Strafford will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against El Dorado Springs at 5:00 p.m. As for Stockton, they will venture away from home to challenge Lamar at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
