Basketball Game Preview: Poteet Pirates vs. Seagoville Dragons

Poteet and Seagoville are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2023, but not for long. The Poteet Pirates will welcome the Seagoville Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Spartans are ranked 1295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Poteet's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Seagoville, their victory bumped their record up to 16-11.
