Volleyball Recap: Miami Springs Comes Up Short

Miami Springs lost against Westland Hialeah back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Hawks fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Golden Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miami Springs took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 21-25, 25-20, 17-15.

Miami Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Westland Hialeah, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami Springs will head out to face off against Hialeah Educational Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westland Hialeah, they will venture away from home to take on Coral Park at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
