Softball Game Preview: Tygarts Valley Bulldogs vs. Trinity Christian Warriors

Tygarts Valley hasn't had much luck against Trinity Christian recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 6:30 p.m.

Tygarts Valley is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 9-1 to Gilmer County.

Tygarts Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Swecker, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. That hit marked the first that Swecker got this season.

Trinity Christian played against Paden City on Friday and won via forfeit.

Tygarts Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Tygarts Valley might still be hurting after the 22-0 defeat they got from Trinity Christian in their previous meeting last Wednesday. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
