Basketball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Comes Up Short

Wonewoc-Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 73-34 loss at the hands of the Ithaca Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 477th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 228th).

Wonewoc-Center's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ithaca, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Wonewoc-Center has already played their next match, a 74-44 loss against Kickapoo on the 6th. As for Ithaca, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 85-40 win against New Lisbon on the 6th.
