Erie-Prophetstown hadn't beaten Riverdale on the road since April 7, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Rams 3-1. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 victory the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Erie-Prophetstown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
