Volleyball Game Preview: Meadow Heights Panthers vs. Leopold Wildcats

The Meadow Heights Panthers will face off against the Leopold Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Meadow Heights made easy work of Oak Ridge and carried off a 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted against the Blue Jays since October 24, 2022.

Portageville typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Leopold proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs.

Leopold walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 22-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Meadow Heights is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. As for Leopold, their victory bumped their record up to 26-7-2.

Meadow Heights suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Leopold in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
