Penn had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt South Bend Adams on Thursday. The Kingsmen put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Kingsmen, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Penn walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-19.

Penn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Montana Swartz led the charge by getting 24 assists and four digs. That's the most digs Swartz has posted over her last five matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Lane, who had ten digs.

Penn's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for South Bend Adams, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7.
