Northwest Christian has gone a perfect 3-0 against San Tan Foothills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Crusaders will take on the Sabercats at 3:45 p.m. One thing working in Northwest Christian's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last eight contests.

On Friday, Northwest Christian got the win against Odyssey Institute by a conclusive 18-7. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Minotaur recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kendalyn Cook was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kinsey Unger, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for San Tan Foothills' offense. They lost 28-0 to Bourgade Catholic on Wednesday. The Sabercats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwest Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.6 runs over those games. As for San Tan Foothills, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.

Everything went Northwest Christian's way against San Tan Foothills when the teams last played on April 3rd, as Northwest Christian made off with a 19-9 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
