Softball Recap: Dyer County Comes Up Short

Dyer County was the 12-6 winner over Henry County when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Choctaws took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Saturday. The game marked the Choctaws' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Dyer County's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Henry County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Dyer County has already played their next game (against Obion County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Henry County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against Huntingdon on the 13th.
