Sharon took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Dover-Sherborn, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles skirted past the Raiders 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Sharon pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dover-Sherborn, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Sharon will square off against Canton at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dover-Sherborn, they will head out on the road to square off against Framingham at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
