Baseball Recap: Manning Drops Season-High Score on Mullins

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manning). They put the hurt on the Mullins Auctioneers with a sharp 20-3 victory on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Monarchs, who have now won five contests in a row.

The victory got Manning back to even at 6-6. As for Mullins, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manning will host Mountain View Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mullins, they will be playing at home against East Clarendon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Auctioneers surely won't give up without a fight.
