Soccer Recap: Homestead Extends Winning Streak to Three

Homestead won the last time they faced Fremont and things went their way on Friday too. The Homestead Mustangs came out on top against the Fremont Firebirds by a score of 3-1. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Firebirds are ranked 825th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Homestead hit Fremont with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Owen Gibbs, Mark Garstka, and Daniel Morrissey.
