Fairfield typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday North Adams proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Green Devils in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-9, 25-15.

Ava Pistole paced North Adams' offense, picking up ten kills. Pistole got some help from Natalie Ragan and her 27 assists. Addison Shupert controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Fairfield's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Bales, who had 16 digs. Bales has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 15 times she's played. Paisley Stahlhut was another key player, getting 13 assists and six digs.

North Adams' win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Fairfield, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 11-2.

Looking ahead, North Adams will be playing at home against Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairfield, they will venture away from home to challenge Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Huntsmen at the right time seeing as the Huntsmen are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
