Soccer Game Preview: Collinsville vs. Oxford

The Collinsville Panthers will face off against the Oxford Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Collinsville's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Collinsville's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They won by a goal and slipped past Southside 1-0. That's two games straight that Collinsville has won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Oxford came up short against Briarwood Christian on Saturday and fell 4-2. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oxford now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Collinsville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything went Collinsville's way against Oxford when the teams last played back in March of 2022, as Collinsville made off with a 3-0 win. Does Collinsville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Oxford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
