Basketball Recap: Kamiah Falls Short of Kendrick in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Kamiah couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a hard 66-49 fall against the Kendrick Tigers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 52-46 loss last Wednesday.

Ralli Roetcisoender continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kendrick, going 6-for-9 from beyond the arc on his way to 25 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Roetcisoender has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last ten times he's played. Hudson Kirkland was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 13 points and eight rebounds.

The defeat snapped Kamiah's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 23-3 record. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.5 points. As for Kendrick, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Kamiah nor Kendrick have any future games scheduled.
