Volleyball Recap: McDermitt Comes Up Short

McDermitt was the 3-0 winner over Wells when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McDermitt started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-19, 25-20, 25-16.

McDermitt now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Wells, they pushed their record up to 3-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McDermitt is set to take on their familiar foe Lund at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wells will face off against rival Owyhee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
