Softball Game Preview: Flushing Raiders vs. Kearsley Hornets

The Flushing Raiders will challenge the Kearsley Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Flushing and eight for Kearsley.

Flushing lost 12-1 to Holly on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Kearsley's offense. They came up short against Fenton on Thursday, falling 15-0.

Flushing's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Kearsley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Flushing was able to grind out a solid victory over Kearsley when the teams last played back in April, winning 6-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
