DME Academy waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Leon Lions.

DME Academy was led to victory by Keri Petro and Olivia Lewis. Petro had 16 digs and two aces, while Lewis had three aces and three assists. Rebeca Furtado Amorim also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: DME Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive contests.

DME Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Leon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

DME Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Winter Park on the 4th. As for Leon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Riviera Prep on the 4th.
