Soccer Game Preview: Cornerstone Classical Academy vs. Providence School

The Cornerstone Classical Academy Spartans are taking a road trip to square off against the Providence School Stallions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Cornerstone Classical Academy is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Harvest Community back in December of 2025. The Spartans and the Warriors finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, Providence School managed to keep up with Tocoi Creek until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. 2026 welcomed the Stallions with a 4-1 loss courtesy of the Toros. While losing is never fun, Providence School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Tocoi Creek are ranked 32nd).

Providence School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. With that draw, Cornerstone Classical Academy's record moves to 1-2-1.

Cornerstone Classical Academy couldn't quite get it done against Providence School in their previous matchup back in November of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
