Soccer Recap: Lehigh Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lehigh won the last time they faced Island Coast and things went their way on Monday too. The Lehigh Lightning put the hurt on the Island Coast Gators with a sharp 6-1 victory. Considering the Lightning's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

With the win, Lehigh broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10. As for Island Coast, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-1.

Lehigh will venture away from home to square off against Gateway at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lehigh is facing Gateway at the right time seeing as Gateway is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Island Coast, they will be playing at home against Immokalee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
