Football Recap: Boonville Falls Despite Big Games from Tyler Klaner and Jaxon Mckain

After flying high against Paoli last Friday, Boonville came back down to earth. The Pioneers lost 42-22 to the Mt. Vernon Wildcats on Friday. The Pioneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Despite the defeat, Boonville had strong showings from Jaxon McKain, who threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns, and Tyler Klaner, who picked up 113 receiving yards and one TD.

Boonville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mt. Vernon, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
