Baseball Game Preview: Pine Grove Panthers vs. Wheeler Eagles

For the second straight game, Pine Grove will face off against Wheeler. The Panthers will challenge the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine Grove will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Pine Grove's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Wheeler as they made off with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Doss Brewer's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
