Basketball Recap: Mount Desert Island Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with John Bapst Memorial

On Friday, Mount Desert Island faced John Bapst Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mount Desert Island Trojans fell 56-45 to the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.
