Basketball Recap: Dallas Thunder Takes a Loss

Dallas Thunder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 93-75 bruising from the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions. Dallas Thunder was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Grapevine Faith Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grapevine Faith Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Harlin, who went 7 of 8 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points along with five assists and five boards. With that strong performance, Harlin is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. Another player making a difference was Mason Barnett, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 20 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Dallas Thunder's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 27 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Dallas Thunder nor Grapevine Faith Christian have any future games scheduled.
