Volleyball Recap: Maggie Walker Comes Up Short

Maggie Walker and Atlee squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Maggie Walker had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Raiders. Maggie Walker was not able to make up for their defeat to Atlee from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Maggie Walker ultimately came up short, they really made Atlee work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24, 14-25, 25-12.

Maggie Walker has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-6 record this season. As for Atlee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Maggie Walker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Atlee, they will challenge Hanover at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.
