On May 11, 2012, the top two teams in the current league standings will go head to head, as Greenwich and Staples meet. The Cardinals currently hold a 2.00-game lead over the Wreckers for first place.

This could be a critical week for Greenwich, which holds a 2.00-game lead over Staples for the league's top spot in the standings.

Although Warde finished first in the league this week with 57 hits, Danbury still sits atop the Fairfield County leaderboard with 160 total hits this season. With 20 hits this year Dario Pugliano leads the sixth-place squad, which finished with a 0-2 record this week.

Warde scored 40 runs this week to lead the league, but St. Joseph is tops in runs scored this year, with 124.

The Mustangs's Pugliano finished his week with 13 hits, tops in the league. He is second in the league with 20 hits this year, and has a .541 batting average.
