Basketball Recap: Sherman Comes Up Short

Sherman lost against St. Joseph Central on February 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sherman Tide fell 53-42 to the St. Joseph Central Irish. The Tide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sherman's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for St. Joseph Central, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Sherman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Joseph Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Van at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Joseph Central is facing Van at the right time seeing as Van is stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
