Recap: Pickens County Tornadoes vs. Addison Bulldogs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Pickens County Tornadoes had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 32-20 victory over Addison. The score was all tied up 12-12 at the break, but Pickens County was the (much) better team in the second half.
Leading Pickens County to victory were Kemaurion Plott and Santonio Jones. Plott threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns, while Jones picked up 107 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Pickens County's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Addison, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Pickens County will square off against Winterboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Winterboro sitting on three straight wins and Pickens County on four. Addison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
