Basketball Recap: Courtland Comes Up Short

Courtland lost against Eastern View back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Courtland Cougars fell 61-53 to the Eastern View Cyclones.

Courtland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Eastern View, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Courtland will welcome Spotsylvania at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern View, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Brooke Point at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Eastern View knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Brooke Point likes a good challenge.
